Infinix is a well-known smartphone company that gives satisfaction mostly to low-end users of the android phones. Infinix company came into operation in the year 2013, and has since then had various series of phones with mostly minimal and affordable prices. Included in the Infinix series is the Hot Series, the Zero series and the Note Series. In this review, I will focus more on the Note and Hot Series and we’ll be looking at the Infinix Note 7 vs Hot 9, the differences, specifications and other interesting facts to know about these two phones; Infinix Note 7 vs Hot 9.
On a general scale, these two phones have some rather incredible features ranging from the battery life, dual sim feature, screen type down to the Operating System. On a quick note, the Infinix Hot 9 was released on the 23rd of March, 2020 while the Infinix Note 7 was released on 6th of April, 2020. this review will help you make a good choice depending on what you like most in smartphones.
Like I stated earlier, both phones have quite a number of great attributes though with some underlying differing features which we’ll briefly look into below.
Hardware and Software
Both the Infinix Note 7 and Hot 9 phones are built on the Android 10 OS and feature Octa Core Processors. However, the Infinix Note 7 runs on the Mediatek Helio G70 processor, a Mali-G5 2EEMC2 GPU and features two RAM options; 4GB/6GB and accompanied with two storage sizes; 64GB/128GB while th earlier released Infinix Hot 9 runs on Mediatek Helio A25 processor,PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM and accompanied by 32GB/64GB/128GB memory options.
Battery Life
Both of these amazing phones are installed with a whooping 5000mAh non-removable Li-Po batteries although the Infinix Note 7 comes with a 18W Fast Charging feature which the Hot 9 does not have.
Cameras
The Infinix Hot 9 features a primary camera of 13MP/16MP depending on the RAM size with 64GB RAM as the middle boundary. The Quad camera setup on the rear also includes a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth camera and a QVGA camera that improves snapping in low-light conditions. On the front, it features an 8MP shooter, which is capable of shooting photos and also videos maxed at 1080p 30fps. On the other hand, the latter released Infinix Note 7 features a Quad-Camera system that houses a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth camera and another 2MP camera, dedicated for videos alone. On the front, features a 16MP slefie camera with impressive low light capability.
Connectivity
The Infinix Note 7 and Hot 9 have similarities in this aspect as they both feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, a version 2.0 Micro-USB port, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 and they are both capped at 4G LTE. This means that downloads and streaming will be capped at 4G speeds.
Price
The Infinix Note 7 price in Nigeria starts at around 79,000 naira for the 64GB+4GB model and 89,500 naira for the 128GB+6GB model which I would falls on a rather high end. Meanwhile, the Infinix Hot 9 price in Nigeria starts at around 56,000 naira which is somewhat around the mid price range.
