Gmail reaches the 10 billion download milestone on Google play store.
Gmail, one of the top email providers around the world has been able to reach a long-awaited milestone. It’s no news that all android devices handled by Google come with numerous Google apps. Gmail is one of the apps that come pre-installed on most Android devices.
Most users run to the platform when it comes to email service. For a long time now, Gmail has been top of the game as the most used email service. Maybe due to its flexibility and order that keeps it at the top. Most web or app services these days automatically let you log in or sign up to their service with Google thereby saving time and also for more security.
With the billions of daily users on Gmail, it has been long expected that it would cross the 1 billion milestones a long time ago. But the delay can be well expected as not all Gmail users ever update their Gmail app.
And some would rather opt for the web version of Gmail. Just recently, it has been noticed by a source that Gmail has crossed the 1 billion mark downloads on the Google play store.
This is a great achievement for Gmail as not many apps have achieved this on the Google play store.
We hope to witness more achievements from one of our favorite apps and hope future updates don’t give us a nightmare like the first update Gmail received on the Android 10 – check out how to fix “unfortunately Gmail has stopped” on your android 10 device.
